Innova Kitchens had recently moved into a new office space and had a lot of internal glass architecture that they wanted to decorate.
The main challenge for Innova Kitchens was that the glass in situ was not suitable for an office environment where privacy was necessary. But also, they wanted a solution that brought scintillating design to proceedings too.
3M™ Fasara™ Glass Finishes was selected as the solution to bring the desired aesthetical and functional aspirations Innova Kitchens had for this project.
In partnership with 3M, HG Surface have completed an interior glass transformation for Innova Kitchens, with the help of 3M™ Fasara™ Glass Finishes.
Innova Kitchens are the UK’s largest kitchen manufacturer and have been a customer of Team HG! for a number of years now, with the HG Team completing a variety of projects for the company, from wrapping their company vehicles to implementing signage and everything in between.
On this particular occasion, Innova Kitchens had just moved into a new office and required a combinational, decorative window film. As a result, the company sought out 3M Fasara Glass Finishes and the 3M Endorsed HG Surface team to bring their aspirations to life.
As a company with design at its core, Innova Kitchens flagship head office was built with a bold sense of style in mind.
With large areas of glass originally built into the architecture of the building, Innova Kitchens wanted to use this as a focal point. As a result, the company were in need of a product that would enhance their existing space, bringing both privacy and leading-edge design simultaneously.
‘’We were delighted to have the opportunity to work on such a great project like this. Innova Kitchens is a local company to us that we have had such a fantastic working relationship with for many years now. For this particular project, 3M Fasara really was the perfect product, allowing us to bring the perfect blend of design and functionality to the team’s new office design.’’ Said Gavin Cocliff, Owner of HG Surface.
Following a consultation process with the Innova Kitchens team, it was quickly distinguished that 3M Fasara was going to be the best option, it was now time to decide which finishes were going to be used.
‘’The broad range of finishes has allowed us to call upon a palette inspired by nature,
to deliver a truly ground-breaking design. The combination of finishes was chosen to reflect the original design intent while adding a new layer of beauty and privacy.’’ Said Rob Hoar, Senior Designer at Innova Kitchens.
When talking about the installation itself, Gavin said, ‘’The style of the glass architecture that was presented also had an impact on the approach in regard to the undertaken of the install, as this allowed us to break up the application and design into manageable sections, bringing the perfect opportunity to utilise the existing architecture of the space in a meaningful way.’’

Results
As you can see from the before and afters of the project, the results following the installing of 3M™ Fasara™ Glass Finishes was truly sensational. The interior glass within the office space was now so much more than just a structural necessity, bringing a stunning aesthetic, whilst adding the element of privacy the company desired. The team at Innova Kitchens very much agreed with this notion, describing the job as ‘bringing a new dimension’ to their office space.
‘’Not only did this job have a great impact on the design but the minimalistic approach in terms of disruption during the install itself was also very advantageous for Innova Kitchens. To be honest, there was next to no disruption for the business, meaning they could pretty much continue on their day as normal, which was great from their perspective.’’ Said Gavin.
