To transform the former Peugeot Car Dealership exterior to an exterior that matched the brand colours of Toyota.
The client did not want paint to be used, but wanted a product that could provide a paint like finish.
The wrapping material 3M IJ180mc was selected for this project following an initial consultation.
HG Surface have completed an impressive transformation of the exterior of Toyota Christchurch’s building with the help of exterior film.
The challenge for the HG team was that the client needed the exterior colour of their building to be changed from the in situ black, to a grey solid finish, in order for their brand colours to be present on the establishment. Following an initial consultation with the customer, it was agreed that 3M IJ180mc would be used for this project.
‘’Due to the lack of guarantee that paint would have delivered a consistent finish across every panel due to environmental factors such as wind, with additional considerations of overspray into the air, our clients sought after ourselves to use a wrapping material to meet their brand guidelines and refurbishment objectives.’’ Said Lauren Siddons, Director of HG Surface.
Lauren continued: ‘’Having worked with this client on a previous project, they knew the holistic service we could provide them and had full confidence in the HG team to Project Manage this job from start to finish effectively.’’
The project itself took a total of 15 days, with 3 HG Surface installers used on the job, and over 600 metres of material applied to the exterior of the Toyota building. With the weather being in favour and an immaculately planned out application, the project was completed well in schedule. In terms of the result of the project, things really couldn’t have gone any better, HG’s client was delighted with not only the finished look of the building transformation but of the service the HG team provided.
