The Preparation

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail is a saying we all know, and it’s a saying that really does ring true when it comes to exterior wrapping projects. Following the site survey of this particular project, it was evident that the surfaces were clearly going to require a lot of prep to ensure a successful installation.

First, we needed to carefully remove all Kia signage and prepare the building surfaces to ensure a pristine base for the new BYD branding. Additionally, the site’s fall pipes and graffiti-affected areas needed to be addressed, as well as sanding down certain areas. The Results

This job represents another very successful car showroom refurb for the HG Surface team. The client was extremely satisfied with the paint-like finish that was delivered coupled with the minimal impact the project had on the day-to-day business.

The transformation has provided the showroom with a striking, premium exterior that aligns with BYD’s visual identity. The building now stands out with a high-end look, strengthening its brand presence and making a memorable impact.
