Renault required a specific colour that provided a high-end finish but were on the lookout for a cost-effective solution..
Following an initial consultation with HG Surface, Architectural Wrapping was chosen to carry out this project.
With the help of Architectural Film, HG Surface have provided the answer to Hendy Renault Portsmouth’s interior and exterior conundrum.
Brand guidelines are very important for businesses, they provide a foundation and bring consistency to proceedings. Following an internal audit, Renault Hendy Portsmouth needed to change their building aesthetic to keep it in line with brand guidelines. The requirement was for the internal and external window frames, as well the exterior canopy to be changed from a traditional white pvc aesthetic to a black finish. With keeping costs down, and downtime minimised high on the priority list, Renault turned to showroom refurbishment specialists HG Surface for the job.
‘’It really didn’t take long to sell the dream of Architectural Wrapping to our clients. The turn around time in wrapping the substrates versus the time for new frames to be ordered, manufactured and then installed meant wrapping really was a no brainer. Not to mention the paint-like finish we could achieve too.’’ Said Lauren Siddons, Director of HG Surface.
Lauren continued: ’’Not only did the concept of wrapping make sense from an economical point of the view, the lack of disruption involved in our solution was hugely advantageous as well. During the refurb there were many other trades on site which didn’t present a problem for us as we could work with and around these should it be required. ‘’
Despite the scale of the project and the amount of material used, the fully certified HG Surface installation team managed to complete this project with minimal fuss. With a large chunk of the refurbishment being window frames (both internal and external), the team knew that this could be a tricky install, so the decision was made to pre cut the material at the HG base prior to the install. This made the installation much less complex and allowed the application itself to be executed perfectly and well in time the deadlines set.
